Undeniable Experience
Continuing a legacy of excellence
Lafarge & Egge acquired Clackamas Welding in 2012 to add Nadcap fusion welding as a capability. But it was much more than a simple add-on. In operation for over 35 years, Clackamas Welding’s significant experience in the the defense, tool & die repair, semiconductor, and medical industries worked to broaden L&E’s manufacturing footprint.
Clackamas is known as the go-to shop for micro welding, TIG welding, orbital, laser beam welding (LBW), fusion welding, tool and die repair, and torch brazing projects. Clackamas Welding’s precision laser welder has also allowed them to expand beyond orbital and hand welding services as Clackamas continues its legacy as one of the few precision welding operations in the Pacific Northwest.
Lafarge & Egge’s premier welding division maintains AS9100 D/ISO 9001 as well as D1-4426 Boeing Special Process Approval, Nadcap fusion welding, and torch brazing special processes approvals.
As micro welders, we have a deep understanding of the thermal impact of welding on the assortment of alloys we process. This knowledge enables us to strategically implement tooling and optimize processes—even in hard-to-reach ribs and grooves—to best manage distortion and achieve tight tolerances.
Our certified welding team’s broad expertise, in conjunction with our rigorous quality assurance program, ensures consistent precision welds and has won us the enduring trust of our loyal customer base.
Up to the Challenge
An industry leader in exotic metal production welding, Clackamas possesses a highly recognized welding capability. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to achieve the spot-on accuracy, while increasing efficiency and yields.
Our shop is composed of welders with the confidence, know-how and desire to take on some of today’s most challenging welding projects. Holding themselves to the highest industry standards, they take our company’s edict of continual improvement seriously and take great pride in their team’s ability to manufacture complex welding solutions for a discriminating clientele.
